Likes decide the rank — nothing else. BeatOut is a public board for software products, apps, and SaaS. Upload for free.
Free upload
- Anyone can submit a product URL with English and Chinese title and description and appear on the board without paying.
- One listing per root domain. Query strings and tracking params are stripped.
- GitHub / App Store / Play Store links are keyed by their app path.
Ranking by popularity
- On the main board, the real listing with the most likes ranks #1.
- Ties break in favor of the newer listing.
- One like per visitor per listing. We remember you with a cookie. Clearing cookies, another browser, or a shared device can look like a different visitor.
What you can list
- No link shorteners. No Telegram, WhatsApp, Discord, or other chat/invite links.
- Porn, adult, and NSFW sites are blocked from appearing.
- Abandoned, unreachable, parked, or empty coming-soon placeholders are blocked from the board.
- Only SaaS, apps, and software products. Local businesses — restaurants, bathhouses/spas, retail shops, booking-only venues, and yellow-pages local services — are not accepted.
Demo listings
- Demo listings are examples for illustration and are not endorsed by those brands.
- Demo ranks follow public internet heat — Wikipedia pageviews, recent Hacker News mentions, and Google Trends when reachable — not likes on this site. Real listings still use real likes.
- Demos live in a separate public-heat section and do not compete on the main board.
Later
- Paid ranking may return in a later edition. This v1 does not charge and does not use WeChat Pay or Alipay.
